Dr. Maurice “Maurie” Slivnick, 87; beloved husband of the late Estelle nee Turovitz; cherished companion of Lorraine Burton; loving father of Bruce (Judy), David (Barbara) and Sari (Billy) London; very proud grandpa of Steven, Ben (fiancee Rachel), Brian, Jeremy and Elyssa Slivnick, Stephanie and Ashley London; dear brother of Zenida (the late Willie) Kaufman and Anita (the late Hal) Schwartz and brother-in-law of Toby and Shelly Alter and Barbara and Aaron Klein; fond uncle and friend of many. Dr. Slivnick was a highly regarded dentist for more than fifty years. Chapel service Thursday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
